Install Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Slack

Rehearsals are now runnable from Slack as Rehearsals Agent. This experience has been tuned to be nearly identical to the chat mode on our existing platform. All you need to do is tag @Rehearsals Agent in a Slack channel or DM it in Slack.

Before you start

  1. Your email in Slack must match the email associated with your Rehearsals login. Please reach out to the Rehearsals team at support@runrehearsals.com if this is not the case.
  2. You will need Slack workspace admin rights to install the Rehearsals Agent. If you do not have them, please ask someone with these permissions to do the installation below. The Rehearsals team will get them an account.

Installing the Rehearsals Agent in Slack

  1. Log into app.runrehearsals.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack and click Install.
  3. Approve the permissions screen in Slack.

How to use

In any Slack channel:

  1. /invite the Rehearsals Agent (or tag @Rehearsals Agent, and Slack will prompt you to invite the app to the channel). You can also DM the agent directly.
  2. @ mention the agent with your ask: e.g. “@Rehearsals Agent, I want to test two ad concepts”.
  3. The Rehearsals Agent bot will follow up on the thread/DM. Continue the conversation, upload files, and when you are finished, click the link to finalize the simulation on our platform.
